Intuit updates QBO Accountant and is recruiting for the Accountant Council
QuickBooks Cash, a bank account for small companies, will be added to QuickBooks Online Accountant, and the Payroll Insights Dashboard will be updated in April. QuickBooks Cash has already begun to be distributed to accountants and companies, and the organisation has added resources to assist accountants in managing their firm’s cash flow. To help their clients better understand their company finances, professionals will now access their QuickBooks Cash account and Cash Flow Planner websites. QuickBooks Cash and its suite of cash flow tools provide the following features:
- A comprehensive picture of existing cash balances;
- A guide to consider past, current, and future cash flow is the Cash Flow Planner.
- Businesses can divide funds and save money for potential goals and expenses using a digital bank account or digital envelopes.
- The annual percentage yield of 1%;
- Free instant access to customer payments;
- Accessibility from any location through the cloud; and
- The ability to pay bills in a variety of ways.
The transition from QuickBooks Cash to QuickBooks Online Accountant began in late March and will continue for the next few weeks.
Updates on the payroll: Inside QBO Accountant, QuickBooks has added the Payroll Insights Dashboard to the client list. This new functionality, which can be found in the client tab of QuickBooks Online Accountant, summarises the top payroll tasks of onboarding, payday, tax payments, and filing dues. Users have already begun to receive this functionality.
Improved search functionality: Improved search capabilities have been added to QuickBooks Online Accountant. ProAdvisors can look up information by typing in a phone number, an address, or data from memo fields. Users can also perform a multi-criteria scan (such as phone number and name). A list of the most current search queries is included in the latest search capabilities, enabling direct access to data generation screens. These new features can be found in QuickBooks Online Accountant’s ProAdvisor tab and are now available to all global QBO Accountant users.
Applications for the Accountant Council are now available: Intuit is currently accepting applications for the next batch of its Accountant Council, a group of forward-thinking accountants who serve two-year terms. The Accountant Council’s mission is to provide a platform for Intuit to hear from accounting partners to understand better their perspectives, challenges, and the problems and developments that affect small businesses and the accountants who represent them.
For Intuit’s small business, self-employed, accountant, and bookkeeper clients and associates, council members help decide potential policy, product creation, initiatives, and services. The Council is currently meeting electronically to better understand in person as soon as health regulations permit.
