QuickBooks Error OL-301

1. The maintenance mode of the banking website or servers is on activate. 
2. File of an organisation with problems with data integrity.
3. You need to update the QuickBooks Desktop.

Before you fix the QuickBooks Error OL-301

Contact your financial institution or bank: First of all, we suggest that you contact your financial institution because there might be a chance that they will make some adjustments to their server(s) or website(s). That is the reason for the QuickBooks desktop issue. Please wait for 24-48 hours if they are running with any problems, and if they are not, please continue with the following troubleshooting measures.

Create a copy of your business files:

• Open Desktop QuickBooks.
• Go to Disk > Company Back Up > Build Local Backup.
• To build a backup, follow the onscreen instructions.

Desktop QuickBooks Update:

• Open Desktop QuickBooks.
• Go to Support > QuickBooks Desktop update.
• From the top of the page, select Update Now and press Get Updates.
• Upon completion of the update, press Close.

Troubleshooting for the QuickBooks Error OL-301

Deactivate Bank Feeds and Reactivate them

• Deactivate Feed to Bank.
• Go to List > Accounts Map (CTRL+A).
• Right-click the account(s) in the list that triggers this error code, and choose Edit Account.
• Click on Bank Setup.
• Pick All Online Services deactivated.
• Click on, OK.
• Save and Close pick.

Bank Feed Reactivate

• Go to List > Accounts Map (CTRL+A).
• Right-click the account(s) in the list that triggers this error code, and choose Edit Account.
• Click Set up Bank Feeds and click Yes to close all QuickBooks windows that are open.
• Next screen prompts you to enter your bank(s) name, and press Continue.
• Now enter your bank Username and Password in the following windows, and press Connect.
• It will take some time for QuickBooks to pull up your bank account(s) until they have been found to connect the store (s) to an existing account.
• Tap on Ok after that. 

Run Utility Verification and Rebuild

Run Utilities Search

• Open Desktop QuickBooks.
• Go to File > Utilities > Verify Data.
• Click OK to close all the open windows,
• If QuickBooks does not detect any data problems, click OK.
• Click Rebuild if QuickBooks finds any problems with your results.

Utility Run Rebuild

• Go to File > Utilities > Data Restoration.
• To create a backup, click OK and then Save.
• Once the reconstruction has been completed, click View Results.
• If 0 problems have been found, please continue with the steps below.

Creating a file for the test company

The intention to build a new test file is to see if the issue is with your bank or a company file. Follow the steps below to make a new business file:

• Go to File > Business New.
• Click Start Setup and Skip.
• Now enter the information needed, and click Build Company.
• It can take some time for QuickBooks to build a new company file,
• Once All You’re Done! Select Start to Work.
• Link your bank account to your test file now.
