Make Copy of QuickBooks Point of sale company file folder in another location

  • Open windows explorer short cut Windows Button Plus letter E
  • QuickBooks POS default location is: C:\users\public\documents\intuit\quickbooks pos version Company file.
  • Copy the data file folder and paste that to another location 

Steps to Download and Run connectivity tool

  • The first step is to download QuickBooks connection troubleshooting tool 
  • Default locations for the Download are: for 64 bits and 32 bit both:C:\program files\\intuit\QuickBooks pos version 
  • Once the Downloading is finished Click to RUN.
  • Once the tool is ready to use, it Would display about description about complete process and Functionality as it is shown in the image below :

How to fix TCP/IP Protocol for QuickBooks Point of Sale

  • Open Control Panel on your computer and then Network and Sharing Center 
  • Click on Manage Connections 
  • After that Go to Local area connection properties 
  • Inside Properties got to network Tab, Then go and Select TCP/IPv6 and IPv4
  • If the box is already checked, Then reset the settings and re-enable these options 
  • And If you don’t see both these options listed contact Support 

Steps to Configure firewall

  • 8040, 443, 80, 2638, 46225, and 46228 grant access for these ports
