Your state W-2s are automatically sent to the state when your federal W-2s are filed if you use a separate QuickBooks or Intuit payroll service.

Step 1: Create your W-2s to send to your state:

  • Create the file you’ll submit to the state by following these measures.
  • Employees, Payroll Tax Forms & W-2s, and State W-2 E-file are the options.
